Driver Agreement

You drive with ReadyRoute as an independent contractor, not an employee. You choose which assigned jobs to accept, you supply your own vehicle and insurance, and you're responsible for your own taxes. A 1099-NEC is issued at year end when your payouts cross the IRS threshold.

Every job shows your pay for it before you accept. That amount is what you earn for completing it, and it's yours in full. Earnings land on your Earnings screen as soon as a job is delivered, and payouts go to your connected bank account. You have to finish payout setup before any money can move.

If you show up and the job can't be done through no fault of yours, you still get paid a dry-run amount for your time, fuel, and the trip. The amount is shown on the job when dispatch approves it.

That applies whether the customer caused it (the item isn't what they described, it won't fit the vehicle they booked, nothing is ready to collect) or we did, such as dispatch sending you in the wrong vehicle. Our mistakes are not your problem, and you are paid either way.

If the customer agrees to let you take part of the load instead, that is a normal completed job at its normal pay, not a dry run.

If a recipient refuses the delivery, that is not a failed run. The job pays in full, and returning the items is treated as a separate job that pays on its own.

Report a problem from the job screen rather than leaving. Dispatch has to confirm what happened before a dry run is approved.

Every vehicle you list in your profile must be covered by the auto insurance on file. Keeping your license, insurance, and registration current is your responsibility, and dispatch may pause your account if any lapse.
